We’ve lived all over the country, but we’ve spent the most time in the south; so even though we’re a couple of nerdy white people, I like to think we know a thing or two about soul food. As you probably already know, meats, like chicken and pork, are a big part of traditional soul food, but so are grains and vegetables. You can’t have a proper soul food feast without black eyed peas, collard greens, and grits, which are all easy enough to make vegan. But you don’t have stop there… vegan fried chicken, vegan peach cobbler, and vegan BBQ ribs can all be yours as well, as long as you have a good recipe to follow. And so, without any further ado, we proudly present you with one dozen vegan soul food recipes!
