Apple cider vinegar – ACV – is a type of vinegar made from fermented apple cider or apple must. ACV has become very popular over the past few decades due to its purported health benefits.
ACV does not contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products, nor are any animal byproducts used in the production of AVC – as is sometimes the case with other fermented liquids, such as beer and wine – which means apple cider vinegar is vegan.
