You’re probably already familiar with Amy’s Kitchen. Their frozen meals stock the freezer shelves at virtually grocery store in America, and now the company that has had massive success selling healthier frozen foods, like their frozen burritos, is about to open an all vegetarian fast-food-style drive-thru in Rohnert Park, California.
The restaurant’s theme is poised to be classic ’50s-style drive-thru items, such as burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The only differences are these will will be healthier versions and every menu item will have the option of being made vegan and/or gluten-free. As for prices, most menu items will be in the $2 to $8 range, right in line with other fast-food and fast-casual restaurants, such as Burger King, Chipotle, and Subway.
Just like their frozen foods, Amy’s Drive Thru plans on using mostly organic, non-GMO ingredients. The company estimates that about 95% of its ingredients will be organic.
So far there hasn’t been any word on when or where a second location will open, but the first location is slated to open this summer – possibly early July – in Rohnert Park, CA.
Some of the items you can expect to find at Amy’s Drive Thru are:
- Burgers
- Fries
- Milkshakes

- Mac ‘n’ Cheese
