Olive Garden has changed it’s look and marketing campaign completely in the last year. I haven’t been inside an Olive Garden in years so I don’t know if the decor has been updated, but their website and menu looks much more modern than it used to. Italian cooking is everyone’s favorite and obviously an important factor is the cheese. It’s not hard to make vegan Italian food, but for some reason, restaurants never do it. I was curious if Olive Garden added any vegan options to their menu since the update so I checked their website today. Here’s what I found.
Sides
- Salad (no croutons, with oil and vinegar)
- Breadsticks (ask for no butter)
- Tomato Sauce
Pasta
- Bucatini
- Cavatappi
- Giant Rigatoni
- Tri-Colored Vegetable Penne
- Whole Wheat Linguine
- Gluten-Free Rotini
I’m sorry to report that the only thing on the dessert menu that is vegan is the raspberry sauce, which I assume is a topping for ice cream. At least you can have pasta! And salad! And breadsticks!!!!
