Steak ‘n’ Shake is famous for its hamburgers, milkshakes, and “thin and crispy” french fries, but only one of those items is on the menu for vegans. Luckily, they also have a handful of other sides that are vegan, and a vegetarian sandwich that can be made vegan.
Not surprisingly, this burger joint doesn’t feature a wide range of vegan options. So, if you find yourself eating here and don’t want to stray from your vegan diet, you’ll have to create a meal by piecing together side dishes from their menu if you don’t want the one vegan sandwich they offer. For a fast-food restaurant whose focus is on burgers and shakes, the fact that they have anything to fit a vegan lifestyle is worth noting.
If you’re a vegan and you end up eating at a Steak ‘n’ Shake, you can manage to fill up your belly with the items they offer at their restaurants. You just might have to be a little creative. But if you’ve been a vegan for very long, you’re probably already used to doing that when you go out to eat.
