Your 2021 Vegan Options at Sonic

Every time I’ve ever been to Sonic, in my pre-vegan days, I have been completely disappointed with their food but completely blown away by their beverages; it’s mainly the ice. Where exactly are the vegan options at Sonic? I used to love going to the restaurants of this fast-food chain after a long night of drinking to cure my hangover and re-hydrate with a huge cup of an icy beverage.

However, I was reading the allergen list for Sonic’s menu and I learned that each location uses local bakeries to source their bread and that the ingredients may change from location to location. So, if you go to Sonic, you can ask for the ingredients if there is a bread item you want to order from the Sonic allergen menu.

Does Sonic Have Vegan Options?

Also, once more, you don’t have this option in all Sonic locations. The two bread varieties at Sonic that do not contain milk and eggs, as per the restaurant’s allergen guideline, are Bagel and Philly rolls. They are also only available in some locations.
