Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar is a sports bar whose specialty is chicken wings. Suffice it to say, they are no vegan’s paradise. If you’re a vegan, and you find yourself at a Buffalo Wild Wings, I feel pretty sorry for you. The vegan options are very limited. The fried foods are fried on-site and may be fried in the same oil as meat and other non-vegan foods – check with your server to find out.

Sandwiches and Burgers
Their sandwich bun is vegan but their Black Bean Burger Patty is not vegan and is likely cooked on the same grill as the other burgers. Your best bet is to ask the server for a sandwich with no meat or dairy on it.
All of Buffalo Wild Wings’ salads come with cheese, croutons, and/or meat; however, you could ask them to make you a salad without any of those items. The following dressings are vegan:
- Light French
- Light Balsamic
- Light Asian Sesame
Buffalo Wild Wings has a huge selection of wing sauces and other sauces and dips, such as salsa. Most of these sauces are vegan. Check out their allergen menu for a full list of sauces that do not contain dairy or eggs. You may also want to watch out for sauces that contain honey sauces.
Vegan Buffalo Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings doesn’t have any vegan chicken substitutes, but if you want to make your own vegan Buffalo wings, we have a couple of recipes you might want to try. This Spicy Buffalo Fried Okra tastes just like hot wings, and this Buffalo “Chicken Finger” Sub has an authentic Buffalo sauce flavor, as well as a recipe for vegan “blue cheese” dressing to go with it.
