I’ve always loved breakfast foods. All of them. While it’s technically true that you could eat anything for breakfast, it’s obvious that some foods are distinctly breakfast foods. One of the things I love the most about breakfast foods is the extreme variety. On one end of the spectrum, you have something savory and nutritious, like a veggie omelet; on the opposite side of the spectrum you have Pop-Tarts, full of sugar and void of nutrients. Apart from being filled with stuff, omelets and Pop-Tarts are nothing alike, yet somehow they’re both breakfast foods. Whether you want something healthy, or something that just tastes good, you always have plenty of breakfast options.
But what about when you want something that’s healthy, tasty, and vegan? Whether you’ve been vegan your whole life, or just a few days, you’ve probably noticed that most breakfast foods aren’t vegan. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, French toast… traditionally, none of these foods are vegan, and that really sucks. That’s why I decided to put together this huge list of vegan breakfast recipes. I managed to find a vegan version every classic breakfast food and then some, right down to consumer favorites, like Pop-Tarts and Lucky Charms.
Enjoy!
