I love banana bread. Whenever we have a bunch of bananas that are about to go bad, one of our favorite solutions is to turn them into banana bread or muffins. Banana bread was one of my first introductions to the concept of bread being served as a sweet dessert. That being said, I think what I like so much about banana bread is that it’s not as rich and sweet as cake. You can eat a slice of banana bread for breakfast with a cup of coffee, and not feel the least bit guilty about it; or you could have it for dessert with coffee and be totally satisfied. My point is, banana bread with coffee is one of the best combinations ever, and you can call it any meal you like.
