When I was a kid, Nutter Butters were one of my favorite cookies – I liked them even more than Oreos. Well, if you’re a fan as much as I am, you’ll be happy to know Nutter Butter cookies are accidentally vegan. Yes, believe it or not, Nutter Butters do not contain any animal ingredients. However, you should know the source of the sugar is unclear, and some batches of the cookies may contain palm oil.
NUTTER BUTTER INGREDIENTS
Unbleached Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate {Vitamin B1}, Riboflavin {Vitamin B2}, Folic Acid), Sugar, Peanut Butter (Peanuts, Corn Syrup Solids, Hydrogenated Rapeseed And/Or Cottonseed And/Or Soybean Oils, Salt, And Peanut Oil), Vegetable Oil (Soybean And/Or Canola And/Or Palm And/Or Partially Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil), Whole Grain Wheat Flour, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Salt, Leavening (Baking Soda, Calcium Phosphate), Cornstarch, Soy Lecithin, Artificial Flavor.
