As some of you already know, we absolutely love Asian food, but in all the years we’ve been doing this blog, we’ve yet to put together a Japanese roundup! What’s wrong with us?! A couple years ago, we did put together a vegan sushi roundup, and if you’re looking for sushi recipes, you should go there; but sushi is definitely not the only Japanese food, so we’re long overdo for this. An old friend of mine used to live in Japan, and from what he told me, they eat some pretty weird stuff over there that is definitely not vegan-friendly, like raw fish that is still alive. In all fairness, though, westerners love cheese, something most Asians find repulsive – not sure how they feel about vegan cheese – so we’re weird, too.
Well, that’s enough rambling, let’s get to the recipes!
