The other night, Taryn made something similar to this, and while I was eating it, I started to think about how much protein it contained. I estimated one serving yielded about 30 grams, which is quite a lot. Then I began to wonder, “how hard would it be to get that up to 50 grams?” Turns out, not very hard. Not only were we able to get the protein per serving up to 50 grams, the final tally actually clocked in at a whopping 55 grams! That’s more than the recommended daily value for most people in just one plant-based dish!
Apart from supplying a day’s worth of protein, and containing a respectable amount other nutrients, this dish is so easy to make and really delicious – much tastier than a protein shake, to say the least.
